I had the occasion over the past few weeks to be in correspondence with the guys at the 'BRUMBEAT' website which is dedicated to the history of Brummie music throughout the '60s & '70s, mainly. http://www.brumbeat.net/
It's interesting & quite irreverent in parts, & a lot of fun. I gave them details of my own meagre part in that history &
they picked up on the theme of the 'Stratocaster' & the innovating part the Shads had played in creating the Rock 'N Roll scene we have all grown to cherish over the last 50 years. Here's the relevent page for the article which 'Bulls Head Bob' wrote : http://www.bullsheadbob.blogspot.com/
